Enso does not collect, store, or process any personal information. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration. No name, email address, phone number, or other personally identifiable information is collected.
All app data — including your blocking rules, Focus entries, schedules, app selections, usage preferences, and cached usage insights — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (UserDefaults within an app group). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to me or any third party.
Enso uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks) to provide app blocking and usage insights. All screen time data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's frameworks.
.individual authorization scope — it manages only your own screen time, not family members'.If you enable Strict Mode with a PIN, the PIN hash (SHA-256) is stored securely in your device's Keychain. It is not synced via iCloud Keychain and never leaves your device.
On supported devices (iOS 26+), Enso uses Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) to generate usage insights. All AI processing happens entirely on your device. No usage data is sent to any server for AI processing.
